During the long years of World War II, Australia's small farming communities paid a terrible price. In the rural towns of New South Wales, one family each week discovered that their son or husband or brother or father would not be coming home. In the throes of such grief, one seldom considers the man who delivers the news.

Set in 1942 Australian country town, THE TELEGRAM MAN stars three Australian and international screen legends Jack Thompson (THE GREAT GATSBY), Gary Sweet (THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER) and Sigrid Thornton (ALL THE RIVERS RUN).

THE TELEGRAM MAN was awarded the 2011 BAFTA LA (BRITISH ACADEMY OF FILM & TELEVISION ARTS LOS ANGELES) AWARD. It was part of the 2011 Academy Awards-accredited Palm Springs International ShortFest and Rhode Island International Film Festival, where it was awarded BEST SHORT HONORABLE MENTION.

The film has been invited to screen at the 97th ANZAC (Australian & New Zealand Army Corps) Commemoration in April 2012 in Gallipoli, Turkey, as well as at the 70th Bombing of Darwin Commemoration in February 2012 in Darwin, Australia.

Shot on super 35 mm film with widescreen 2.35:1 aspect ratio, THE TELEGRAM MAN is featured in Kodak Magazine INcamera Web Exclusives, alongside Steven Spielberg's WAR HORSE and Tom Cruise’s MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE GHOST PROTOCOL
