Fanny lives in uncertainty, her memories of the rape is vague. Sometimes she does not know what is true and not. If everything is just a creation of her imagination. She wants to know and must know what is the truth. Otherwise, she can not go on with her life. When she accidentally encounters a woman who could be her abuser, she must make a decision. She must get the woman to confess. But how could she know that it is the same woman? How far is she prepared to go to get at its truth, her confession? She chooses wrong, it may be her downfall. She chooses well, can lead to freedom. The freedom she longed for 15 years.
